The Parents' Association organised a very successful book fair for the school. The school got 720 euro of free books as a result. Many thanks to all that helped.

First Friday of every month
For those of you who wish to have an excuse to go out for an evening and the opportunity to brush up on your cúpla focal at the same time, we are going to continue with the monthly ‘oíche gaeilge’ in Doorleys pub, Roscommon. For those few who turned up last year this was really good fun. We would like to encourage as many of you as possible to try to make it and don’t worry - you don’t have to be fluent in Irish, just willing to have a go. It will take place on the first Friday of every month and the first one kicks off on Friday 2nd October. Drop in anytime between 9pm and 12am!!!
First Tuesday of every month
Many parents turned up over the last school year to Molloy’s, Abbeytown at 10am-ish on the first Tuesday of every month. We are going to continue with this monthly excuse to sit around drinking coffee/tea and chatting with other parents and friends. Please come along and enjoy the fun.
Coiste na dTuistí, Gaelscoil
Feidhmíonn Cumann na dTuistí i gcomhairle leis an mBord Bainistíochta, na múinteoirí agus na páistí chun fís na scoile a chur i gcrích agus tugann sé cabhair agus tacaíocht dóibh chun a gcuspóirí a chur i ngníomh. Roghnaítear an coiste gach dara bhliain agus tá ionadaithe ann ó ghach rang.
The Parents Association as a team, work in conjunction with the Board of Management, the teaching staff and the children to assist them in achieving their goals/ambitions and offer to them their continued help and support. The committee is selected once every two years and is made up of representatives from all classes.
Bíonn cruinnithe go rialta ag Cumann na dTuistí agus scaiptear fógra faoin gclár agus am an chruinnithe roimh ré. Moltar do thuistí a bheith i láthair ag na cruinnithe mar cuirtear fáilte roimh thuairimí agus moltaí nua.
The Parents Association hold regular meetings throughout the school year, prior to which parents receive an agenda and notification of the date/time/venue. Parents are encouraged to attend these meetings as all new suggestions and ideas are always welcomed.
